The City Islamabad mobile application developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) has generated over PKR250 million in revenue since its inception more than a year ago.
An initiative of ICT administration, the application was launched to provide digital ease to the citizens of the capital for availing services from 40 plus government departments. Its aim is to relieve citizens from hassle, struggle, and stress with one-click access to all the vital public services and departments in Islamabad.
The revenue amassed by the application was generated after the citizens of the capital availed services from it. The administration is also working to add more payment methods to the online system aside from Nadra’s e-Sahulat solution such as 1link transfers and Easypaisa to make the lives of residents easier. There are more than 40 services that you can avail of on the platform.
Currently maintained by the NITB, the mobile app offers a wide range of public services, tools, and features for the citizens that include ICT services, e-Police, Excise and Taxation, CDA, e-NADRA, notifications, City guide, Utility Bills, and other valuable services.
Launched with an easy user interface, people can download the app on their mobiles from both Google Play Store and Apple Store. After downloading the app, users can register themselves by providing details that include your name, phone number, and CNIC.
Once you are logged in, you can just click on any service that you wish to avail of and provide the necessary details and your work should be done.
